Shut up, Eckhead.

Now you look really stupid. Who are you talking to?

Remember, space aliens have feelings too.

Taxes and tax breaks. You conservative Republicans are so easily bought.
You should be so concerned about your health as you are your pocketbook.

Guess what: Money buys quality healthcare. If you socialists were more
interested in creating wealth than in ruining it, healthcare woudl be
even better.

Lets do the sums, shall we ?

USA: "Capitalist". Huge and ongoing budget deficits. Huge and
ongoing trade deficits. Huge and growing national debt. Millions
with no health care coverage.

Canada: " Socialist". Healthy and ongoing budget *surpluses*.
Healthy and ongoing trade *surpluses* ( In spite of some
*illegal* US trade legislation... ). Large and *shrinking*
national debt. *No one* with no health care coverage.

I guess we raise and spend the money better than the neocons
do... :-)

Isn't socialism wonderful?

About as pleasant as an impacted wisdom tooth...

Well good. We need more folks like you. A wise man once said, "I'm no hod

Geez, I'm not resorting to ad hominem. I like the blue collar types. I
respect them. I am one of them in spirit and in build. And I will never
hold you or them in a place of contempt or underneath me based upon some
belief.

False.

Then why did I have to go to a dozen doctors in my area (Toronto)
before I found one who would take me on when I moved here?

Soldiers going to food banks.

Not because they need to. Some have taken advantage of a free lunch.

Oh? Explain to me, then, why the Feds are trying to triple the
rental rates for base-housing that's sub-standard...?

Yes. We had some stupid policies in the 70's and the 80's. We

still have to work to do to get our infrastructure in good order.
The new helicopters have been ordered and the roads are improving.

We *could* have had new helicopters ten years ago, if the 'new'
government hadn't been so petty in cancelling the original contract.

Schools 'dumbing down' courses to prevent students from
failing.

That was one of the stupid policies of the 70's and the 80's.

Which continues to this day... with no end in sight.
