Default What software please?

I want something for my PC - to see sky view, plan viewing sessions, EZ but
complete. I tried Carte du Ciel but couldn't even get the observatory
longitude/latitude entered.

You might like HNSky...

Freeware and maybe a bit easier to learn. It's my most used astro =
program.

The normal Celestia server is temporarily down but the Celestia team site is
still up at:
http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/ and it can be downloaded from there.

It's a very cool program.
