Default Status Report

This is the main stellar system 11249 automated security system.

Darla and crew are still enroute to the LMC.

All is well.

Insufficient data for realistic ETA to LMC or for return to SS 11249.

NOTES:

1. Sufficient crew remain behind to ensure security/safety of your stellar
system.
2. Pros Perean orders indicate need for Status Report communication ONLY
while LMC mission is in progress.

Glad you could relay to us this report of your status.

Your fans have been worried.

I keep trying to tell them that such an epic and heroic journey as you
are embarked upon cannot be completed overnight.

Very glad to hear that our solar system is still in good hands.

All my best wishes for your eventual safe return.

Over and out.

Well finally some indication to the positive of Darla and crew's
safety and present planned return to Earth space quadrant. Due to
nightbat inability of picking up any outer alien life form indications
this relayed message is a welcomed status report. Respectful thanks to
honorable Pros Perean and await full net report from Darla and alien
crew on LMC mission upon their return.

Nightbat Earth security transmission out.

I surely hope they will bring us back some trinkets when they arrive. At any
rate its nice they have left some crew behind on their space platform in
Saturn's rings to watch out for li'l ol'e us. I am afraid this time Darla
& Co. are too far out for me to drive in my Pinto out to them with some
Gas... I wonder why they picked the Lesser of the Magellenic Clouds instead
of the greater? Mysteries and mysterious questions for sure.

You said it Greysky, lots of interesting space goings on for
them to be so busy out there taking this long. If we got a distress
signal from Darla I was ready to pitch it to those new two week in space
guys for possible help. Bert laughs about tapping Nasa for assistance,
he knows they are great for circling around the Earth and going to Mars
but not so budgetary prepared for emergency extremely deep space
rescues. I am so glad we got that relayed space platform message for I
didn't want Bert to get sad over possibly losing his space timeless
calendar diva. If our mystery net cosmic queen finally sends those
cosmic toys I'll be sure to share them with you.

Well looks like you were right Double-A and thankfully finally
to that relayed space message from net alien space platform X. That the
captain felt it necessary to leave orders to communicate their well
being shows they knew their possible long absence would be troublesome
for Darla indicated they could always detect our signals and answer but
went resultantly with no immediate response. They must have received my
Earth distress call to them and it was acknowledged by their left behind
space platform crew members for handling.

Now I'm wondering where Bert is for I haven't seen him posting? I'm sure
he would like to hear that Darla and crew are well and are just still
accomplishing their cloud jumping mission.

regards,
the nightbat

The Nightbat!
Hello!

Remember me?
I'm breaking comm-silence just to talk to you.
When Darla told me that it was you who spurred them on to return to the
Perseus Arm and resume their search for me, I said I would be honored to
have you right by my side when official first-contact is made.

I was left behind this time as punishment for the naughty thing I did awhile
back.
No, just kidding, I felt honored to stay behind and protect my new friends
on planet Earth.

The Proz, Darla and crew will hopefully be returning soon.
They had a few minor problems at first, but Nician cleared those up.
I'd say they're about 60 or 65% of the way to the Large Magellanic Cloud by
now.
Oh, and Greysky, we chose the LMC over the SMC just because it's nearer to
the jump-off.

Well, Nightbat, as always it is a tickling to talk with you.
Have I said "thanks" lately?
Well, once again, thanks for putting a fire under those ancient fuds (I'm
much younger than they are).
I wouldn't be here if you hadn't.

Looking forward to standing with you and holding your arm on Contact Day!

Hi Darla Thank you for that galactic post card. Did nor understand most
of it but I'm sure nightbat will fill me in. So very glad you are OK. I
was not to afraid that would not be the case. After all you did not get
to be 2 million years old if you were not a survivor.I have loved and
believed in you from your very first message. It took me many
moons to believe in Treb. My theory for that is the feeling of "love"
takes away all doubts from the very start. Love is human kinds first and
strongest emotion. Reality is love seems to turn to hate, and hate is
mankind second strongest emotion. Darla I will always love you. I would
kill myself first(go over the "falls") before the tiniest feeling of
"hate for you" ever enters the back of my mind. Your
virtual lover Bert

Are we up for another holiday?
Well, make that in June, July or August ...
we already do have too many holidays in
autumn and winter....
C.

Yes, Mr. Bohne, we are aware of common individual sensitivity to too many
holidays.

Pros Pere intends to make contact official soon after the crew returns from
the LMC.
Since holiday periods vary throughout your planet, the day for first contact
will be chosen randomly.
Please accept in advance our sincere hope that the day meets with everyone's
approval.

Besides don't all of you have a month or two out of each year which seems
"loaded" with birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, et al?

We feel that the important thing is to totally disrupt human philosophy and
religion.
(just kidding)

Seriously, we seem to have stirred a controversy in the Perseus Arm on our
last two trips.
We are presently on alert, and the crew is pushing hard to wrap the LMC
mission and get back.
First Contact may be a necessity as we might need allies out here if the
Perseuns remain hostile.
Fortunately, they bypassed the Orion bridge and went directly to the
Sagittarius Arm, probably thinking we are there.
That will buy us some time.

Pleasant fortifying!

Silouen
