If they're unable to keep their junkwagons in the air and they plow
through your roof, the debris should become the property of the
homeowner and NASA should pay for all damages.

How audacious! "Give us back our space junk or we'll prosecute! I
don't give a **** if it tore up your property." Anything to keep the
working man from making a dollar on eBay.

So, it's ok to steal in your world. Ok.

Incidently, the government does tend to pay for damages, even though legally
in many cases they are not required to.

So quitcha beefin'

Thanks for the chuckle. I see you there in a business suit, rolled up
umbrella and bowler hat... Angry of Mayfair if ever I heard one.

Seven people died in that "junkwagon" you refer to.

You would be in violation of the law if that "junk" came from an
aircraft. It's accident evidence. Would you grab a dropped gun
from a murder scene because the bullet broke your window and the
weapon was on your property?

Hmm.

Dear Sir,

I wish to register my strongest possible complaint about the behaviour
of these American clowns at NASA. I opened the Telegraph at breakfast
this morning to find that they had been breaking apart "shuttles" in
Texas, with apparently no regard for the unfortunate householders
beneath, who are suffering plummeting house prices along with
plummeting, ah, plumbing. I, and my good lady wife, strongly feel
something should be done about this; after all, is this what we fought
the Hun for? Bring back flogging, I say, they probably all have long
hair anyway.

Yours disgustedly,
Col. Humphrey Fitzwilliam (ret.)
Tunbridge Wells
