Carsten A. Arnholm:
Weather permitting, the upcoming total lunar eclipse will be covered via webcast from http://www.astronomi.no/live/2004/ This may be the last straw. I had to watch a webcast of the transit of Venus from Sweden, now, if Maryland weather doesn't improve (thank you for abrogating the Kyoto Agreement, Dubya), I'll be watching the eclipse from Norway. Why don't I just move to Scandinavia!? Long, cold winters, that's why! Elsewise I'd be there in a New York minute! Davoud -- usenet *at* davidillig dawt com |

From the misery loves company department: My homage to the 21, January 2000, lunar eclipse. http://nexstar5.0catch.com/lunaeclipse/lunaclipse.htm Yes, I feel your pain, and yes, my pain from the frostbite did eventually go away. BTW, Norway is a lovely country, but I happen to love cold weather, Bergens fiskesuppe and Kvitsøyball. And you really haven't lived until you've dined on Herring Burgers....Yum! Good luck with the webcast, there's a better than even chance I'll be parking my IP there. Given the description of the conditions when the images were made, I'd say you meet the criteria for being a gung-ho amateur! |
