Default Real or Fake?

This is purported to show the 2003 blackout in the eastern US, but
there were a lot of fakes circulated at the time. I've forgotten
what the tipoffs were.

Part of the sea is painted black. If it were real, you'd see the
colour of the sea carry on up to the shoreline and then blackness
inland. Plus the idiot doing it has very obviously used a round "brush"
with a feathered edge, which limits the resolution they can achieve.

Fake. Areas of Canada which also lost power are shining bright. . .
