Default genesis.....what happenned?

well the stunt pilots would have to be incredible to catch that.
we will have to see what scientific info can be obtained from the
probe, ( dont buy thoses parachutes again ha ha ).

the capsule didnt look in bad condition from the tv pictures
so fingers crossed

Call themselves stunt pilots? It crashed at an estimated speed of 100mph. A
skydiver can easily achieve that speed in a heads down attitude. If they
were any good at all, they could have caught it one handed.

Wonder if they used the same parachute design as Beagle..

Measured in inches but delivered in cm perhaps given US proclivities for
muddled imperial units conversions. Although by the sound of it the
system did not deploy when fired and they had to treat the thing as a
UXB.

I did wonder about the way it wobbled in the air. Very much like those
old hub cap style craft in the UFO series from Gerry Andersons crew.
