Default 6" f/6 mirror

Hi,

I have a 6" dobson and would like to buy a better mirror for it. FL
must be less then 100cm, so it can fit into my car.

Any idea where I can find one?

I already tried surplusshed.com and some local dealers. Google didn't
help much. I live in Croatia (central Europe).

Do you know what is wrong with the primary mirror you have, and are you sure
this mirror is to blame for whatever problem(s) you are having?

A few years ago, Sky & Telescope had an article about "mirror pulling".
The idea was to take a spherical mirror, with a good figure, and pull the
central portion to deform it into a parabola with nearly as good a figure.

If the existing mirror has a smooth curve and doesn't have severe zonal
irregularities, one might be able to mechanically deform it into a near
paraboloid.

Cheers,
Larry G.
