Shawn O'Keefe of NASA is great. I saw him interviewed on Daily Planet. He is
endorsing strongly the Brantford, Ontario robotic manufacturers design for saving the HST. He was in Toronto doing the interview. Canada will come to the recue! |

Time will tell how well he plays it. I saw him interviewed on Daily Planet. Not by Clark Kent, I hope :-) He is endorsing strongly the Brantford, Ontario robotic manufacturers design for saving the HST. Well -- what other choice does he have? He was in Toronto doing the interview. Canada will come to the recue! Rescue will take a system solution, not just the Canadian robotic element. Hopefully the money to do that will be committed and it will happen. But the challenges in robotic servicing of a vehicle designed for manned repair are non-trivial. I hope they are solved. Phil |

And a little more cynicism would be just what is needed.

No, hopeful realism would be a better characterizaton. I know those
working this problem, and they would agree. Primus Mum wrote: And a little more cynicism would be just what is needed. Phil Wheeler wrote: Mike Hale wrote: Shawn O'Keefe of NASA is great.
