Default Photography advice - Genesis spacecraft

I live in Utah and I am considering driving to Wendover to try to see
the Genesis recovery on the morning of Sept. 8. I may try to take
some photographs using a telephoto lens and/or using a 6" DOB. Never
having done this before, does anyone have any suggestions or pointers
on film speeds and exposure times?

Place a digital camera against the eyepiece of the dob That's the
easiest. Exposure times for film would depend on the weather, time of
day, etc. With a 200mm zoom lens you will probably need a tripod or
fast film (400+) for anything slower than 1/60th second exposures. Use
the light meter and fast film No experience with film through the scope.
