Default Sun halos today

Anyone else catch the sun halo a few hours ago in the midlands?

'Twas georgous!

Best of all, a few hours before I predicted that we'd be seeing at least
sun dogs later that day 'cos of the way the temperature was dropping and
clouds were changing - so feeling both pleased to see the view, and pleased
with myself.

Big thanks to all those on the group who originally helped me out a few years
ago when I saw my first sun-dog and didn't have a clue what it was, and gave
me some pointers.

Ta-ra,

Where, and/or what, is that phallic symbol in your picture? Nice pictures...

LOL!

It's either my finger of thumb, in an attempt to block out the direct sun
light, as I'm sure you already guessed.

I never imagined it was a finger.
Having scoured parts of Derbyshire for megalithic monuments some years ago, I
was wondering how I could have missed such a big one!
