The handbook for Autostar's "Easy Align" requires that the telescope (ETX
whatever) be placed on a level surface such as a table or tripod. Please advise on the accuracy of the required level. I suppose that the Autostar software could take care of any inaccuracy; but does it? The alignment procedure also specifies a "home" position for the telescope (level and pointed north). Please advise on the accuracy needed for the "home" parameters. Again, the software could have been designed to take care of small inaccuracies; but was it? Any help is really appreciated.
