Default Stoney at a Edmonton Scientology Introduction

Alright something happened to me on the weekend and I thought I would
post it here. Don't worry I am leaving this news group. What happened
was that here at alt.freemasonry I discovered that Xavier was a
Freemason and Freemasons formed the Vatican which gives us many evil
things today. I was really freaked out. I was up for 2 nights if you
could believe. So I headed to Scientology last Friday and sat down for
an intro lesson. Actually I was very impressed. Finally I was in an
organization, a Church, that is not Freemason. This better not be one.
If I search and learn and study Scientology and go to L.A. and meet a
bunch of Freemasons laughing running things I'll be ticked. But I
think that will not happen. I told a Freemason friend I was joining
Scientology and got the feeling it is not Freemason. Scientology is
really against worshiping Uhura Mazda so I think I found a home. And I
am really happy. All because of the without remorse individuals here
at alt.freemasonry

I don't know much about Scientology, but everyone needs something to believe
in. Go for it and good luck! Hope it works out for you. Although, do you
really have to come to LA??? ; )

We should all TRY to lead by example and even when we are safely behind our

Josh,

I have an Aunt that joined scientology years ago. They use a lot of low
tech mumbo jumbo (very primitive galvanic response meters) to convince
you that they are measuring problems in your psyche that need fixing.
In reality the galvanic response meter is reacting to other things
entirely. And they have a very high and specific price tag attached to
EVERYTHING they do. Moving from one level to the next is extremely
expensive. She got out years ago, had to change her address and phone
number to stop the calls and letters, even though she did not leave a
forwardign address through the Post Office, they found her anyway (in
another city) and started again. They still have not stopped. And they
know exactly how far NOT to go to avoid harrassment charges. Keep in
mind, years have now past. And despite many requests by her and a
lawyer, they continue to prod her. Why did she leave Scientology? She
simply could no longer afford it. It is VERY expensive. At the time
she was a Human Resources Director at a hospital and her salary was not
small. She told me that there wasn't really a set amount paid regularly
as most churches might tithe 10% or so. The amount changed frequently.
The courses you take to advance all have a price tag attached to them.
Andas you progress the price of these courses go up. And in response to
your question about Stoney being required to "go to L.A." at some point
the members do go somewhere for a long period of
.....whatever....training. And the cost is very high for that too. My
Aunt went on that trip. Came back and almost immediately decided that
the Church of Scientology had taken enough of her money. She had been a
member for around 8 months and she tells me that she cut checks for just
over $11K (US) at that point. It's definitely not a poor man's path.

L Ron was such a garbage science fiction writer that he had to invent a
religion to make a living. Unfortunately, gullible and vulnerable people
will be suckered by this rubbish.
