Why can't we amplify the light from a distant star by entering a laser
tube,and increasing its intensity. I got this idea from how an "SCT" telescope works. Bert |

Hi Benoit I used SCT because I could not spell "catadioptric" this
telescope uses two mirrors and does reflect light back and forth. The primary mirror has a hole in its center and light goes through that hole to be put in focus by the eye piece. Bert PS The "S" is for Schmidt |

Technology is so advanced now that even single photon can be detected if they want to so there's no need to amplify photon though probably need to amplify electrons. |
