Hi all,
This is slightly OT as I don`t normally use binoculars for astronomical purposes, but as I like to view the night sky when I am on walking holidays in the country (waste of time from London), it is somewhat relevant. I have been wearing spectacles for about 3 years, I have one short-sighted eye, the other long-sighted! Trouble is, I find using binoculars while wearing the specs very difficult, but I have found that I cannot adjust the left eyepiece enough after focusing the binoculars whilst looking through the right one, when using the bins without wearing the specs. Are there any binoculars available with a wider range of adjustment for the left eyepiece? Any advice for this problem gratefully received. I hope I have explained my problem clearly? TIA Larry |
