Default Light pollution article in Manchester Metro News

There is a full page article on page 3 of the Manchester Metro News today
entitled 'Let there be dark' subtitle 'Night sky is 14% lighter than 10
years ago'.

It quotes NW MEP Chris Davies calling on local councils to reduce light
pollution. Not bad, even if it does quote the 'Royal Astrological Society'
as say that up to 2000 stars should be visible to the naked eye. Maybe it
was the Astrological society they asked.

Cheers
