Default image enhacement algorithms

hello!

i am a student writeing paper on CCD astro imaging. my goal is to
create a program that improves image from sequence out of atmosphere
distorsed images recorded via CCD (something like registax or
AstroStack).

does anyone have a clue where i can find some algorithms used for such
image enhacement? maybe even some open source code of this programs?

please don't point me to theoretical papers that i can't get any
algorithm from

tnx

The keyword in the above is "student" - you're supposed to be learning
stuff, not blindly copying source code from others. A theoretical paper is
EXACTLY what you should be reading and then YOU should devise an algorithm
to implement it.

That's how it worked in my day at any rate.

Speaking as someone who has written an image stacker - I would agree.

I forgot .......

Copying from one book is called plagerism.
Copying from 3 books is called research.

John thanks for the time trip...
