![]() "Robert Babb" wrote in message ... Anyone have the pinouts for a Celestron PC port on the Nexstar so I can make a cable ? What do you actually want to do?. If you want to control the scope from a program like Maxim, SkyMap etc., you need to connect to the handset port, not the PC port. The PC port is designed for software updates. It _can_ be used to control the scope, if you use the HcAnywhere software (which emulates the functionality of the hand controller, and sends the required commands to the PC port). This software is now marketed by Celestron, as 'NexRemote'. The pinout for the PC port, is on the Celestron website, with the programming information (since the port is designed for this). If you goto: http://www.celestron.com/support/dow...htm#MOTORDRIVE Near the bottom of the page under 'other downloads', you will find the cable diagram available to downlod. Best Wishes |
