Default Venus occultation - part 2

Couldn't risk moving the scope when I couldn't see the Moon through
it! Set the camera on automatic and a second chance gap in the clouds
occurred (mostly) at the correct time. Moon was a bit off centre but
you can't have everything I suppose ;-)

Great job Pete. You and Anthony may be the only two to have seen it!

;-)

Do you observe the moon?

Hi Chuck,

I don't believe many observed it but we weren't the only ones. Take a
look at www.spaceweather.com for some other pictures.

A pity that so few saw it really, part of the fun is in seeing
everyone's interpretation of the event :-)

Some more images here if you're interested...

Thanks. http://www.pbl33.fast24.co.uk/crescents.jpg was my favorite!
