Couldn't risk moving the scope when I couldn't see the Moon through
it! Set the camera on automatic and a second chance gap in the clouds occurred (mostly) at the correct time. Moon was a bit off centre but you can't have everything I suppose ;-) http://www.pbl33.fast24.co.uk/occultation_002.jpg -- Pete Homepage at http://www.pbl33.co.uk Home of the Lunar Parallax Demonstration Project |

Great job Pete. You and Anthony may be the only two to have seen it!
;-) Chuck Taylor Do you observe the moon? Try http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lunar-observing/ And the Lunar Picture of the Day http://www.lpod.org/ ************************************ "Pete Lawrence" wrote in message ... A pity that so few saw it really, part of the fun is in seeing everyone's interpretation of the event :-) Some more images here if you're interested... http://www.pbl33.fast24.co.uk/recent_images.html -- Pete Homepage at http://www.pbl33.co.uk Home of the Lunar Parallax Demonstration Project |
