Default comet quick observation

Went to pick up some food this evening, and brought my 10x30 IS binos
with me. I found NEAT about two thirds of a field of view to the west
of the Praesepe (M44). A pleasing combination. I didn't estimate the
comet's brightness, but it was surprisingly bright, considering the
level of light pollution around here.

Yep, she's bright all right! :-) For us southerners, Q4 is only one of
of TWO naked-eye comets that are gracing the night skies at the
moment. Life is good! :-)

For anyone interested, please visit my website and follow the link at
the bottom of the page to see a few photos I took last night from a
dark-sky location near where I live. Both comets are easy naked-eye
objects and both are sporting quite impressive tails, although the
tails are not too bright.
