I keep getting a kick of how they're almost "begging" for life to appear on
Mars. Good luck finding any. All of these millions of dollars spent to
look at a piece of dust. Funds that could have been spent elsewhere....
aiding the sick, poor, etc. There is a slim chance that life may exist
elsewhere in the galaxy but our chance of ever contacting it is even more
remote than one person winning the 6 million dollar lottery ten times during
a lifetime. Or, better yet, finding a needle in a haystack the size of our
galaxy. Pretty slim odds.

Let's just euthanize all the sick & poor so we'll have even more money
to spend on space exploration! Then your liberal heart won't have to
bleed for them.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast people stereotype. To tell you the
truth, now that I almost have to reveal it, I am neither conservative or
liberal. Both sides of the coin have fallen way short in the last few
years. Money appears to be the dominating factor in each case.

Your "quick and dirty" solution isn't going to work either since space
exploration is fueled by big business, just like with the political
scenerio.

Sorry, no dice.

Default Science costs too much ... waaa, waaa!

blah, blah, blah...

I am neither conservative or liberal.

That may very be (not that it makes a damned bit of difference here).
What I can say for certain is that you're a whining troll trying to
pass off a tired (wrong) political view in a science newsgroup.

Go find a nice political newsgroup to whine in and leave us alone.

Well then, leave me alone by cutting off your stupid responses. As long as
put-me-downs like you keep fueling the fire, what do you expect? Now come
back with something other than stereotypical, I would reconsider even
responding at all.
