news:eUSub.439023$9l5.95870@pd7tw2no... http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/ap...count_form.php Tried yesterday and it wouldn't let me. Today it did! Running on my new P4 3ghz... so far I like it. It manages multiple processors well, and when I need a graphical fix it can supply that as well. They are doing a nice job. I am wary of many things, but I've been running SETI for 4.518 years according to their own webpage. I trust them, and that is very important to this project. Software like this is worrisome, their reputation will decide my continued support. So far my support is complete! uray |

As far as I know, the work units are a set of about 100 or 200 rotating, so there is not much science done yet. The science is still on the shoulders of SETI@home. Also note that since BOINC is still in beta test, our accounts can be zeroed out if they need to reset the test or something. We beta testers are volunteering guinnea pigs ;o) Just had to mention this so you don't get upset if it happens. -- Robi (2.9#@ 2.79 yrs) |

I don't remember selecting wether I prefered astropulse or SET@home. In fact I'd prefer SETI. How can I change it? -- ~misfit~ |
