The growing list of things that Shawn Grant talks about without knowing
anything about is, of course, way too long to post here. A couple of highlights: ** Apple Macintosh Computers. ** Computer-based Lunar Occultation Predictions. ** The English Language. ** Linux Computers. ** Microsoft Windows Computers. ** Questar Telescopes. ** The answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. (For Shawn it's a big, fat zero.) -- usenet *at* davidillig dawt com |

Don't you people know by now that Shawn is just a troll? Don't you know
he doesn't believe any of the things he says? The whole point of trolling is to get rises out of humorless people. (For Shawn it's a big, fat zero.) Shawn takes one aspect of human nature to extreme, putting down anything he finds a challenge intellectually, socially or financially. o unix/linux o high quality refractors o women It's mostly lack of self-esteem. But on the other hand, he is a decent beginning photographer and should his fortunes take a good turn, he could eventually develop his skills creating high quality astro-photos with a good AP equipment and learned imaging skills. He might derive enough self satisfaction to also become somewhat humble. For better or for worse, Shawn is a part of this s.a.a. community. I, for one, look forward to his progress and my own. |

Clearly, your experience as an educator has led you to the observation that people are capable of change. Thank you for your high-road approach and observations.
