If I consider elementary particle reaction:
Electron-neutrino + My-lepton_(-) - electron_(-) + My-lepton-neutrino This could be reaction for absorption electron-neutrinos in those cosmic voids? (In this kind of reaction Electron-neutrino seems=20 to transform to My-lepton-neutrino.) (Similar (but not significant in case of these voids) reaction would also be My-lepton-neutrino + Tau-lepton_(-) - My-lepton_(-) + Tau-lepton-neutrino (In this second kind of reaction My-lepton-neutrino seems=20 to transform to Tau-lepton-neutrino.)) Best Regards, Hannu Poropudas Kolam=E4entie 9E 90900 Kiiminki Finland [[Mod. note -- Neutrinos will happily go right through an entire star and out the other side, so I would expect only a *very* tiny fraction of incident neutrinos to interact in such a manner when passing through any cosmic region which we can see through (i.e., one through which we can see "background" galaxies). -- jt]] |

[[Mod. note -- The relevant physics (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhey...enstein_effect for a brief introduction with references) requires matter to be present. If you do the numbers, you need a fair bit of matter. "Void" (and the fact that we can see background galaxies even when our line-of-sight looks through a void) implies a very low matter density. -- jt]] |
