Default New Image of the Week

Dear All,
I've just posted the new "Image of the Week" at the Bellatrix
Observatory's website:

http://www.bellatrixobservatory.org/picture.html

It is a stunning image of the wonderful galaxy NGC891, captured by
Florence Poiget - France.

We are looking forward to present your own astronomical images!

Enjoy!
Gianluca

OOh, that is a nice image, Gianluca. Florence has done a very nice job
indeed.

I had a question: was the reason for the strange artifacts on the stars in
the 9oclock to 12oclock region due to guiding or some other thing? I had
first thought maybe it was only on one star but it seems to be the same for
all. That makes me think it may be some guiding issue but I am not sure.

Keep those nice images coming!

Best regards
Richard

This is the kind of image that shows what aperture intense SCT's over APO's
are all about.
