Guess what? Today I saw, for the first time, the rings of Saturn! They were
very clear in my 22 x 100 binoculars. Definitely a gap between the round planet and the oval rings. I have watched the planet for 40 years (well, maybe not, I'm turning 43 this summer...) but I have never used equipment powerful enough to let me see the rings. I'm a happy amateur astronomer today! ![]() /Stefan Ahlgren, Sweden |
