http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/index.php?p=movies See Comet ISON section here. Better movie than that old thing on the NASA WWW site. The earlier (monochrome) movie has more contrast and detail, even if it doesn't show ISON and Encke "crossing paths." The solar wind shows better too. Having Mercury in the view is a plus. Encke looks small and healthy. ISON looks as if it's about to go TU. |

Here is another movie with comets ISON, Encke and Lovejoy in the same movie.
http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/favorite/...hi1_hires.html Lovejoy is in the upper left moving out of frame. Nov 21-26 another day added http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/favorite/20131126ahi1.html and see comet ISON section here for orbits and a high res closeup. http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/index.php?p=movies On 11/27/2013 07:32 AM, wrote: On Tuesday, November 26, 2013 12:47:53 PM UTC-5, Dennis Wang wrote: http://secchi.nrl.navy.mil/index.php?p=movies See Comet ISON section here.
