I do not see any answer given for Uranus being colder than Neptune. I only see GOPers bad mouthing. TreBert

Obviously the farside of Uranus is going to be one of the coldest
places in our solar system. I'd doubt the Uranus farside gets much
warmer than 30 K because it never sees the sun. Only its geothermal
heat which can't be worth all that much is available to the farside
that's in perpetual nighttime.

Uranus doesn't have any truly significant moon like ours, and of those
it has are mostly way the hell further out than our moon, so there's
not much tidal heating by all of those combined. The moons are
actually a bit warmer than the planet.

So why otherwise is Uranus so cold?
