Sometimes you bump into those people that just can't seem to get rid of one
of those goofy ideas, and keep trying to justify it...

URL:http://users.wpi.edu/~trek/aspergers.html

Reminds me of so many cranks and their behaviours (and myself, sometimes
;} ). So maybe "take your meds" is a valid response after all...

Seems to me that Asperger's is just the extreme end of nerdiness. Treat it
at your peril; our society is utterly dependent on nerdiness; without it
science would never have begun...

Aspergers:
"...development of restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior,
interests, and activities."

Sounds like people who get up and go to work everyday!

You can take any pattern of behavior and label it a "syndrome".
Homosexuality used to be so labeled until it became politically
incorrect to do so.

I think that as a society we are over diagnosed!

It's like everybody just has to have something wrong with them.

Keeps doctors and psychiatrists in business.

Think about that.

You seem to have a hard time accepting that your steak
stays fresh longer in your fridge, and stubbornly
refuse to accept the consequences of that.

Oh, well, the rotation of the Earth used to be an
insurmountable difficulty, not so long ago.

Let me add a few quotes :

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to
entertain a thought without accepting it.
-- Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC)

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking
new landscapes, but in having new eyes. -- Marcel Proust

"It seems to me that the test of "Do we or do we not
understand a
particular point in physics" is, "Can we make a
mechanical model of
it:" " - lord Kelvin

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the
ability to learn from the experience of others, are
also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to
do so.
-- Douglas Adams, Last Chance to See

It doesn't. It cooks in the freezer. Think about that. All you do is
slow particular chemical reactions.

Take your meds, Uwe.

Of course, you don't suffer from Aspergers.
Your condition is more like full blown autism.
