Digging for coal in caves 1,000 feet down with no escape hatch.
Digging for coal to save Mafia electric companies big bucks.(Progress Energy) The lucky miners were the ones that died instantly. 25 died and the rest missing. Its crazyness to burn coal in this day and age. Its more crazy to go against mother nature that burried it deep underground for our own good. One spark is all it takes. You are inside a bomb and could be its fuse wearing an electric light or swinging an ax or your gloves creating static electricity or cart wheels creating sparks riding the iron rails etc Explosion so great it moved the mountain, and felt like an earth quake. No one in the mountain can still be alive. All this only proves the motto "Life is cheap, but a buck is still a buck " TreBert |

Underground mining of coal and hard-rock minerals needs to become at least 90%99% robotic, or else excluded from happening at all. ~ BG |

Underground mining of coal and hard-rock minerals needs to become at least 90%99% robotic, or else excluded from happening at all. Instead the use of thorium needs to replace the bulk of what coal is used for, whereas that too needs to be mined by as much robotics as possible. ~ BG |
