iPad's aren't being sold yet, I think.

The iPad has no PHYSICAL keyboard but
there's a keyboard on the screen that you can use.
( you touch the screen )

I don't know how much it'll cost to connect an iPad
to the internet... 60 dollars per month, I assume.

The WiFi version ( it comes in different versions )
might let you connect cost·free, like Double·A does.

But free WiFi might be hard to find.

Double·A could get kicked out of Safeway ( for loitering ).
Having Food Stamps helps ( because he's paying in ).

More and more places are getting free wi-fi, even taverns. Bert likes
to drink beer all day anyway. They don't mind you loitering in a
tavern all day long so long as you order an occasional refill.
Taverns used to offer free lunches. Now they offer free wi-fi. But
as the wise ones say, "There ain't no free lunch!"

Why don't you take to to a computer store and see if they can speed it
up. Clean up the viruses, malware, spyware, etc. that are slowing it
down. Also reorganize the disk.

Sounds like a plan!

I think tyhe iPad was made just for me.

And so long as you are willing to attest that the iPad will be used
only for M&M business purposes, you can write it off your income
taxes! Well, you said you will using it in your van, and you are
probably already writing off the van as a company vehicle, right? Now
you can drive the van down to the local tav where you can post, and
you can write off your 3-martini lunch, or in your case, your 3-Bud
lunch!

Default treBert, Double·A, WiFi is free at the University of Washington.

treBert, Double·A, WiFi is free at the University of Washington;
just renew your “Temporary Access” permit every 3 months.

You must have your own computer, they don't provide one.

When I was interviewed on night for just walking down the street, the
first thing the cop asked me to do was to take my hands out of my
pockets. Had to be sure to release my grip on my two handguns before
I did! (Just kidding.) It was cold out there, but I do not argue
with the police. I may feel put upon, inconvenienced, and even having
my rights violated, but you have about a many rights as a jackrabbit
when he is armed, you aren't, and there is no one else around. Might
as well be a realist about it. The only time to do otherwise is when
you get a sudden impulse to commit suicide by police!
