Fire requires a fuel as well as an oxidant and a cause of ignition. Insofar as one can trust that report, a major cause was the presence of readily combustible aircraft wheels in the hold. Clearly, therefore, aircraft should in future not be fitted with (and therefore be likely to carry) combustible wheels.
