Taken on 19 Sept 2009 from a farm just south of Bluenkob state park,
PA. TOA150 at F/7.3. STL11000M, 1x10 min each LRGB. Cropped but
not reduced.

You solve the fogging issue?

Good start but needs a lot more time.

More time on the Lum will greatly reduce the noise level. 4x more would
be the minimum. When using very short RGB bin them then enlarge to
match Lum, then do a Gaussian blur of the resulting RGB using about 1.8
pixel setting.

If RGB is taken at the same bin mode add them to the L image for a much
lower noise level. I always do that when RGB is binned same as L.

Rick,

Re the fogging issue, humidity was 90% plus on 19-20 Sept when the
image was taken. Scope was dripping water! No fogging problem the
entire night. I believe the fog problem was caused by a bad/not
charged dessicant plug. Not good quality control for a unit with 6
hours on it. I bought a spare plug from SBIC. It came in a plastic
bag without any means to cap it!! I guess I will charge it once I
figure out how to keep it sealed. I wonder if the people at SBIG can
conceive that a spare is to be used the same night if fog/dew is seen
in an image?
