Default primary mirror identification

under bright light you can see
miscoloration/residual substance that cant be washed off with either water
or alcohol , and under a microscope - even at very low power - you can
see small scratches and other defects... perhaps its just me


Hi:

None of this is likely to hurt the performance of your mirror. I've long
advised people to not worry about the "flashlight test", but this is the first
time I've heard of somebody doing a microscope test! :-)

I didn't know Soligor made scopes (or sold 'em under that label, anyway)...
