And while we're at it:
I'll probably be going to Hoboken NJ around easter next year, visiting some
friends, and
I thought about picking up a small travel scope, while I'm there.
Are there any recommendable astro-stores in the area that I should visit?

Mike,

Come on up to the NJAA in High Bridge NJ. It's probably about 1.5
hours from Jersey City but we have fairly dark skies. Here's our
