Low was 50F, expected high 76. Called the Food Stamp office since it has been a week since I submitted my Interum Update Report to get my food card activated again. They said they received it, but told me a story abourt how many reports they receive each day and how few workers they have to process them. She said at the outside it would be processed by the 13th of the month. Of course that doesn't guarantee it will be approved as is. Called Care To Share which controls food bank distributions in this county. They told me that there was a 30 day limit between visiting church food pantries. So if you go to one church pantry, you can't go to any other of their church pantries for 30 days! Even though they only gave me enough food for one week! But then she did give me the addresses couple of pantries that operate outside the system where I can go. I don't think within walking distance though. Boy, the benevolence flows like molasses from these agencies doesn't it? Remind me that next time I am asked to contribute to these efforts, that I should let my contributions flow like molasses too! 69F at 7am No rain in my area yesterday so it got up to 91F,and no rain
today will have the temperature up to 91F From now till Sunday very hot and humid air will bring in a heat wave. Chrysler dealerships closing every where. If I was younger I could make good use of those show rooms to display my inventions, and innovations. Right now best they are used to sell used cars. Banks are not in reality making those profits they claim, but got extra money so that they make Obama look good giving some of it back. Its all con,and one has to be very naive to think otherwise. Bankers are taught at Harvard business school to try to get more money than actually needed. Banks are not loaning out money for cars, homes and small business. Why should they when they have the key to the treasury. News this morning is the poor kids get their best meal of the day eating the school lunch. Charlie Crist and the rest of Florida's good old boys want to get more money from the lunch money. They claim its costing the tax payers to much money. It figures Trebert |

They had some strawberry samples in Haggen, and when I tasted them I thought, these taste like real strawberries! Sure enough, locally grown! First time I've seen a major chain store here carrying local strawberries. Usually the only way you can get them is to stop by a roadside stand. There is a tremendous difference. The California strawberries have no flavor at all. They taste like they injected them with chemicals to stop them from rippening, and that probably isn't too far from the truth! Good to taste again the flavor I remember from my childhood out picking them. Then there are those strawberry plants they have planted around here for ground cover. They look just like the wild strawberries you see in the mountains, except they don't have any berries! They blossom, but then no berries form. Completely sterile! Genetically engineered? WOW Its much hotter than I predicted. It will be 96F at 5pm,and with
the humidity the heat index will be 103F Its no wonder Goffather owns the utilities. Two months late and you die from all this heat. very good advertizing when old poor people are found dead from this heat. My bill will be over 250 bucks, and I will pay it rather than eat. Solar barrels getting to hot and will cut down on the reflecting the Sun. Trebert |

They rent them rooms with no A/C with the excuse that in Oregon you really don't need air conditioning. Yet every summer we have some days of 100+ degrees! Old people seem to have a harder time sensing when their bodies are getting too hot. Double-A |

Maybe the bees are on strike there, DA? *lmfjao! See: *http://gears.tucson.ars.ag.gov/book/...trawberry.html Saul Levy I see bees around. Your dated statistics show Oregon as the number 1 producer of strawberries, but now it's California that grows over 80% of the crop. But their berries have no taste! Florida appears to now be second to California in growing the berries. Perhaps it is a winter crop there. Double a I know you got the news that Nazi Van Braunn killed that
guard for he hated Jews and Blacks. I relate him to Van Meter who is carrying out Bob Hansel"s death threats. Here you seeNazi's put in high places so they can kill those that are poor,or they do not like. It all fits as USA has gone fascists. Mafia fits well with Nazi's Just got the news Fiat owns Chrysler and the government gave Fiat 6 billion. As I predicted they will get 15 billion,so we still owe Fiat 9 billion more. The rest will come you can bet your life on it Trebert PS How come M&M can't get a dime? |

The University of Washington has rows of very large/old cherry trees.
When they bloom, the cameras click away; it's breath taking, really. But never will you see a single cherry... no bees. Had there been a hive nearby, someone would've kill it. |
