Hey sci.astro,
A couple days ago I came across a web posting on this old silliness, seems they are trying to revive it based on something to do with the Mayan calendar and 2012 being a significant date. I figured Nancy's toadies would be all over sci.astro like the good old days but things look to be quiet on that topic - is it fair to say that they all went out, laid down in their trenches with their Wooly Mammaths and ne'er returned? Alas poor nibiru.... O' |

Using, if I'm not mistaken a 23" infra red equipped scope, he showed that there was nothing there. Nancy and company has never recovered. However, you will most likely see a resurgence of the Planet X farce as 2012 approaches. RT |

In my limited experience with those jerks (I avoid them whenever I can), they always manage to rationalize some self-delusion that contradicts the truth-tellers. That there's no end to the creativity they apply to their rationalizations just makes talking to them a waste of time. If only they could get a proper bachelor's degree in physics, they could use that extraordinary creativity to make important contributions, but instead they use it to spread lies. |
