the cygnus or the swan.....with the naked eye?
or can you ever see the swan with out a telescope? my daughter has a star named after her in the neck of the swan thanxs for the help |

You can see Cygnus the swan easily with the naked eye... it is quite a large
constellation, and contains the asterism commonly called the "Northern Cross." Depending on your latitute it is still visible in the early evening, although it is most often thought of as a summer constellation. P.S. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there is no living person who can have a star named after them. The companies who claim to do so are little more than charlatans and hucksters, since they have no authority to "name" stars... nor will anyone but you ever recognize the star by that "name." You can name a star yourself for free!
