![]() I'm reading and enjoying S.Chandrasekhar's book on stellar structure (Dover). I just finished the chapter on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram and noted that at the time he wrote the book (around 1939) there was no good theory of the transmutation reactions taking place inside the star. I was just wondering what I should read that would bring the material in that chapter up to date, if not the book itself.
