Hi all!
I'm having a problem with my recently bought Celestron C8-SGT and the optional CN16 GPS Module.. The manual says "attach the GPS Module" to the Base Drive Port of your Motor Drive Panel... ok, fine.. but there is NO Base Drive Port. (The Box by the way speaks of the "Auxiliary Port")... but my Celestron C8-SGT (Advanced Series) just has a Port for "Handcontroller", "DEC" and "Autoguider" .... no Port marked as AUX or Base Drive .... So how can I connect that GPS Module to the Scope? I re-read the Manual again and again. It always says my telescope is compatible with that GPS Module.. I mean... am I stupid or where is the problem here?!? It does not fit to the Handcontroller RS232 Port as well. please help me out... thanx in advance.. Dennis |
