The Messier Ten Minute Challenge
M54 - Globular Cluster in Sagittarius M54 (NGC 6715) is a particularly luminous globular cluster with a diameter of around 300 light years and a distance of 80000 to 90000 light years. This globular cluster is difficult to resolve due to its distance from the observer. http://www.martin-nicholson.info/ten...llenge/m54.htm Martin Nicholson, Daventry, England.
