Hi, I bought the Nexstar 130 SLT last year and I am now having trouble. The problem is that when pressing the up and down directional buttons on the hand control, the motor either doesn't move at all, or moves only very slightly and sporadic. It is also much louder than before. Altitude slewing is perfect, very fast. Is there any way to solve this or does this need to be returned for repair? If you aren't comfortable taking it apart to find the problem, or it is on warranty, by all means return it for competent fixing. |
