Michael Neufeld, of the National Air and Space Museum, has a new book out:
*Von Braun: Dreamer of Space, Engineer of War*. I noticed that the C-SPAN2 channel in the U.S. will present a talk by Neufeld on Wernher von Braun tomorrow-- Saturday, 27 October-- at 2:15 PM EDT, 1:15 PM CDT, etc. The talk is 53 minutes long. (On weekends, C-SPAN2 becomes "BookTV" and is devoted mostly to chatter about nonfiction books.) The channel often repeats such talks, but Saturday afternoon is the only occasion this weekend for Neufelds. If you miss it, watch the schedule posted at http://www.booktv.org/schedule.aspx for a possible repetition on subsequent weekends. -- Bill Higgins | "I'm gonna keep on writing songs | until I write the song Fermilab | that makes the guys in Detroit Bitnet: Sic transit gloria mundi | who draw the cars Internet: | put tailfins on 'em again." --John Prine |
