What the burning towers showed to us is people have to get out of the
building very fast, and not by jumping out of windows. New type of elevators needed. How people on the roofs can be saved. That time is on the side of the fire. I have ideas how all this can be done, and at a low price Bert |

Some guys here jumped off a 40- story building with hang gliders and sailed safely to the ground. They did it early in the morning so as to be able to not be too much noticed, and get away quickly before getting in trouble over it. Double-A |

Double-A Even a captain chair can work. Even outside laundry shoot
would work Even a fireman's pole could be made to work with 1 1,000 foot drop. slow their fall into huge airbags on the ground. Keep gravity from picking up acceleration. .Its the sudden stop that kills. People have fallen out of airplanes and lived. Bert |

Bert A problem with skyscrapers is that fire departments really have no way of dealing with fires that high up. They have no way to spray water that high to dowse a fire. If the fires in the World Trade Center could have been put out quickly after the crashes, the buildings probably wouldn't have collapsed. We all saw the movie "Towering Inferno". It's something to think about before building such tall structures. Double-A |

Double-A Humankind likes to build high up. NYC has no land for Pentagon
buildings.Water has to be stored on skyscraper roofs (I thought it was) Fire now should know to get the people coming down the stairs out, before they start going up. Elevators need axes to break their walls. Double-A I never thought the Sears tower would still be standing. Bert |

Was to the top of the John Hancock building too, and ate at the spendy restaurant they have on the top floor. Those were the days! Double-A |

Double-A Was at the top of the Empire State building a few months before
it was hit by a plane. I don;t like looking down a building. When I lived in Newton Mass, and in the window business I was ask to give my answer to this 50 story insurance building had its glass falling out. I gave them the answer to the problem, and did not even get a thank you card. It was the John Hancock building. It was built by Cabot,Cabot and Forbes. Forbes son was a friend of mine. Heavy money people. Their money came over with the Mayflower. Bert. |

Class action suit by 10,000 NYC people on toxic dust pollution of 9'/11
Government cover up. People died as soon as 5 weeks after the two explosions. Dying as I type this. 300,000 with dust coated lungs. Police and fireman hit the hardest. 100 tons of asbestos in those towers. Manhattan looked like it had a snow storm. Air-conditioners trapped the dust and gave it back out slowly. NYC health department has 70,000 being treated, and a total of 300,000 effected(coughing) Well like Double-A knows first hand, and I Know from living near LA Dust is bad stuff. Breath in to much and it will shorten your life. Even if it takes 25 years to give you lung cancer. Bert |

Bert Since I have a brain, I was concerned at the time about people going near the WTC site and people working in thre rubble without masks. But they were saying, this short term exposure shouldn't hurt anybody. Asbestos dust is the most deadly dust you can breath. They used to employ kids in Africa to separate natural asbestos fibers. Most of those kids never saw adulthood! Anytime an old building is being imploded, you should stay away. Don't come to gawk. Watch it safely on TV. Your lungs will thank you. Double-A P.S. Did you know that they actually sold cigarrettes back in the 50's with asbestos in the filters? Yep, those Kent micronite filters had asbestos in them! Those cigs could kill you many ways! |
