Galileo: 3 consortiums en lice pour devenir opérateur




La Commission Européenne et l'entreprise commune Galileo ont annoncé
vendredi 6 février après midi leur verdict quant aux consortia retenus pour
mener la phase de négociation compétitive :

Trois consortiums industriels regroupés autour d'Eutelsat/Hispasat,
Inmarsat/EADS/Thales et Alcatel /Vinci/Finmeccanica ont été présélectionnés
pour devenir l'opérateur du futur système européen de navigation par
satellite, Galileo.



Il y avait 4 propositions reçues au mois de décembre dernier par l'
entreprise commune Galileo en réponse à l'appel à candidature publié au
dernier trimestre 2003. ./.





Galileo: 3 consortia in string to become operator



The European Commission and the Galileo Joint Undertaking announced Friday
February 6 afternoon their verdict as for the consortia selected to carry
out the phase of competitive negotiation.

Three industrial consortia gathered around Eutelsat/Hispasat,
Inmarsat/EADS/Thales and Alcatel /Vinci/Finmeccanica were preselected to
become the operator of the future European Satellite Navigation System,
Galileo.



There were 4 proposals received last December by the Galileo Joint
Undertaking in response to the call for proposal published for the last
quarter of 2003. ./.
