appropriate thankful response to the Divine Drudging Drought being
bestowed at the present time as a Cosmic Lesson upon the back of stiff

innocent man , Martin Bryant, to live sentence by the very Political

Mining Criminals of Newmont, Newcrest & BHP ( which paid incidentally
the 200 millions to the Mossad commando through their 1 billion
official loss) and the kicking out of the country of the best Mining
Pioneer Australia ever had ... indeed 3 mines on the map and not a
thanks in return ever from the West Australia Whorehouse also known as
West Australia Parliament !!!

I hope sincerely that a change a heart will take place in the Convict
Colony and the extend & gravity of their crimes will finally permeate

FARMERS' HOPE FOR SUMMER RAIN EVAPORATE

THERE is no relief in sight for NSW farmers as they struggle with one
of the worst droughts in history and record low water storage levels.

Figures released yesterday show 92.7per cent of the state is
drought-stricken, with no firm prospect of plentiful summer rains.

NSW Primary Industries Minister Ian Macdonald said rural areas were
"hanging on by a thread" and water levels were dire.

"The Bureau of Meteorology is reporting a neutral outlook for summer
rainfall," he said. "This means the chances of at least average
rainfall during the coming three months are close to 50 per cent."

Monthly figures showed the area of the state in drought had fallen from
93.6 per cent to 92.7 per cent, with 4.9 per cent marginal and 2.4 per
cent satisfactory.

But the state's total water storage level had fallen by 3.4 per cent to
22.9 per cent.

"This is 33.9 per cent lower than the same time last year and is the
lowest for this time of year in this drought," Mr Macdonald said. NSW
Opposition Leader Peter Debnam will announce plans today to spend
$1billion on "drought-proofing" the state if he wins the March 24
election.

The money would be spent on harvesting stormwater, improving dams,
doubling the rainwater tank rebate and other initiatives.

The Australian understands Mr Debnam would partly fund the initiative
by selling NSW Lotteries. The lottery company, which was corporatised
in 1997, is estimated to be worth several hundred million dollars.
However, any profits from a float would probably be reduced by
regulatory limits on the company's activities, including that it
continue to provide a healthy revenue stream, currently more than $350
million a year, to the NSW Treasury.

Meanwhile, the water conservation policies of the Iemma Government have
received a tick from an independent panel chaired by Peter Cullen.

Professor Cullen, who sits on the National Water Commission, says in a
letter to Premier Morris Iemma that recycling effluent water,
developing groundwater sources and accessing deeper water in dams
represents "a robust approach to managing Sydney's drinking water
supply".

But Professor Cullen warns that, as a result of climate change, the
Government's "trigger" for construction of a controversial desalination
plant -- dam levels falling below 30 per cent of capacity -- "may soon
be reached". And he says the panel "strongly recommends desalination
must remain a central part of the Government's water plan for Sydney".
