There can't be a shuttle - there wasn't enough computing power around
when it was allegedly designed. The things we've been seeing are
holograms and CIA fake footage. Not to mention all those faked Hubble
images.....

I recall some program on TV many MANY years ago where they
were talking to some guy that lived out in the CA desert that
claimed the Earth was flat. When asked about the Moon landing,
he claimed it never happened, that we've never been in space.
How could we, if the Earth was flat? They weren't far from
Edwards and the Shuttle happened to be there, so they offered
to take him over to take a look at it. The guy refused, of
course, claiming it was nothing more than a hollywood prop.

No joke.

This program was late 80's, early 90's.

I go around telling everyone I meet that there never was a shuttle or
an ISS.

I'm hoping that if I can convince enough people of this I will wake up
one morning and it will be true and those precious lives won't have
been lost and this entire corner of the Universe will be aswarm with
little robotic probes and big space telescopes doing marvelous science
and scientists will be making science policy and not robber barons or
amiable dunces in High Places and our bankrupt country won't be
planning to squander more treasure and probably more lives to go /back/
to the Moon and to Mars just because saying we will do that seemed like
it might help someone's fading political fortunes for an hour or so.

Before you know it some kook will claim that the CIA is just
a fabricated entity--just faked by the government!

We can rest easy since Hollywood would screw up any such movie beyond
reason anyway. They can't even get Superman right!
