From a Brit whose support for the US has been sorely tested by (1) your
choice of leaders and (2) your persistence with the death penalty and (3)
your government's foreign policies, a huge thankyou for another aesome show
today at the Discovery launch.

The world watches with admiration and shares your pride.

Now if only.........

Thanks. Much appreciated. But we can do without the politics here, if you
don't mind.

Hey, we Yanks appreciate it.

And as for the politics, maybe someday you'll change your mind about
that too. After all, we forgave you Brits for the Boston Massacre.

Yes, now if only you lot would learn to mind your own business with
regard to 1), 2), and 3) above.

Well, it's not like GWB sets an example of minding his own business
with regards to 1), 2), or 3)...

Given that they are 1) OUR choice of leaders and (2) OUR persistence
with the death penalty and (3) OUR government's foreign policies, your
remark doesn't even make marginal sense.

Little late for that. This thread has had politics since "The Main Man"
screwed up with his initial post.

My experience is that folks usually start complaining about how
something is 'off topic' at just about the point where something they
disagree with gets posted.

Such complaints just add to the noise they claim to be complaining
about.
