Does anyone connect their scope to their TV (not PC)
And use their remote control to 'control' it? If so, then how - tv sender for video with IR remote? Could open up entir new channels of viewing from the comfy chair in the lounge |

I've used my 8" scope with a cheap security camera (B&W) on occasion to view
the moon. Other objects are rather beyond the ability of a video camera to observe with such a small scope. For a note, it took the 60" scope at Mt. Wilson to image Sg28 passing behind Saturn about 15 years ago and even then, the image was a bit grainy. -- Why do penguins walk so far to get to their nesting grounds? |
