Default Scope to TV

Does anyone connect their scope to their TV (not PC)
And use their remote control to 'control' it?

If so, then how - tv sender for video with IR remote?

Could open up entir new channels of viewing from the
comfy chair in the lounge

Default Scope to TV

I've used my 8" scope with a cheap security camera (B&W) on occasion to view
the moon. Other objects are rather beyond the ability of a video camera to
observe with such a small scope.
For a note, it took the 60" scope at Mt. Wilson to image Sg28 passing behind
Saturn about 15 years ago and even then, the image was a bit grainy.
