Default Branson and Bigelow to team up for a space hotel?

http://tinyurl.com/pmhmm

"SIR Richard Branson is taking a giant leap for mankind by drawing up
plans to build the worlds first space hotels, his space flight company
Virgin Galactic has told The Business. Alex Tai, its operations
director, who will pilot

Virgins first commercial space flight in 2008, has held talks with US
hotel entrepreneur Robert Bigelow about the project, Virgin Galactics
president Will Whitehorn confirmed."

I am surprised that there hasn't been more discussion about this. If
Branson plans orbital business soon, then a destination would come in
handy. Bigelow has been planning a space hotel for most of this decade,
so this seems like a natural fit.

Perhaps the time may come soon when we can stop blaming NASA for lack
of humans in space, and start blaming individuals!
